We invite you to worship at St. James!
Sundays at 9am
Services are shown live at 9am on Sundays on our YouTube channel. Past services can also be viewed on this same YouTube channel.
Our services are designed to invite the congregation into the holy and loving presence of God through prayer, the reading of scripture, music, and sharing the Eucharist. We worship together to express deep gratitude and praise for God, and we experience God’s love for us through the life and word of Jesus Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Our services are inclusive of all God’s children and are presented through the contemporary and traditional forms given in our Book of Common Prayer. Our services are led by ordained clergy as well as licensed lay ministers and lay people from our congregation. We perform music at all services using traditional Anglican hymnody, contemporary worship songs, Taize, piano and organ literature, choir participation, and, on occasion, children’s songs.
Our Sunday Service offers Holy Communion:

The Sacraments
“Sacraments are outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual grace” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 857).
Besides Baptism and the Eucharist (Holy Communion), the church recognizes other spiritual markers in our journey of faith. These include:
- Confirmation (the adult affirmation of our baptismal vows)
- Reconciliation of a Penitent (private confession)
- Matrimony (Christian marriage)
- Orders (ordination to deacon, priest, or bishop)
- Unction (anointing with oil those who are sick or dying)
In addition to the Holy Sacraments, we also offer Special Rites such as Celebration of a New Home, Thanksgiving for a Child, Blessing of a Civil Marriage, Reception in the Episcopal Church, Reaffirmation of Baptismal Vows, and Burial of the Dead.
Please call or email the church office to request more information specific to your need.
