Stations of the Cross – Sung Service

Please join us on Friday, February 27 at 7:00pm for a prayerful and deeply moving service of the Stations of the Cross, featuring Soprano Jocelyn Claire Thomas, Countertenor Loren Masánqué, and Organist Matt Smith.

This special liturgy is woven around excerpts from Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, composed in 1736 and based on the 13th-century Latin hymn traditionally attributed to Jacopone da Todi. The hymn tenderly and powerfully reflects on Mary’s suffering as she stands at the foot of the Cross.

Through music, prayer, and silence, we will walk the Way of the Cross together in a service that invites contemplation, compassion, and hope.
